Who I am...
Hey! My name is Braden Rooke. I am an aspiring film Producer and Editor that strives to produce professional content across multiple platforms. Over the last two years I have Producing and Editing credits on several productions that have been distributed online and potentially to several broadcasters.
I am currently attending the NAIT Digital Media and IT program, specializing in the Digital Cinema Career stream. I have completed several Film and New Media classes including; Digital Video/Transmedia Content Producer, Post Production Process, Fiction and Non Fiction Storytelling, and more.
I have currently produced two short films, one of which required me to manage a team of 16 students to make the projects vision come to life. With this team, I am now producing a feature length documentary on Juno Award winning recording artist, Alfie Zappacosta, which I am currently the lead editor on as well.
My other editing credits include two videos for the StoryWorld Quest Transmedia conference, which was sent to broadcast on Telus Optik TV. I am experienced in producing and editing for several different formats including music videos, short films (fiction and non-fiction), promotional, and commercial.

Will she fall victim to her own mind?
Elevate - Short Film (5 Min.)
This video about a man preparing for his game by looking back on the outdoors rinks he started on was produced, directed, shot, and edited by myself, Braden Rooke, for my Advanced Cinematography class at NAIT in Edmonton, AB.
It was shot at the Ray MacDonald Sportsplex in Morinville, AB and at the Alpine Rink in St. Albert, AB and is my first personal production.
The Lobby - Short Documentary (10 Min.)
Kevin Martin is a very busy man. Alongside running one of the last privately owned video stores and being active in the local film community, he is most importantly the organizer or Edmonton’s premiere horror movie festival, DEDfest. Now, in the face of the largest DEDfest ever, he risks losing it all; his festival, his reputation, and the community that he considers family.
